The Femme Collective needs you to help us spread the word out about Femme2010 and to help us raise enough money to make it our best conference ever! How can you do your part? Throw a Femme2010 House Party! House Parties fundraisers can look however you want them to – whether it’s a potluck, cocktail party, or craft night, we’re supplying you with the tools to make it as easy for you as possible. Because Dorothy Allison’s keynote address at the 2008 Conference was such a moving and empowering moment for many of us in attendance, as well as those who have since watched it from afar online, we’re providing you with a copy of the DVD to show at your party in order to get the conversation started about the importance of the Femme Conference, bolstering community, and creating social change.

• Tips for organizing your event & raising money for the conference

• A DVD of Dorothy Allison’s 2008 Femme Conference keynote address (for those without a DVD player, the keynote is available on our website!)
